Professor Stammberger is the Professor Emeritus (former Chair) of the Department Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery at the Medical University of Graz in Austria. He is well-known for his pioneering work with Dr Messerklinger in endoscopic sinus surgery in 1960s and 1970s. He first introduced the techniques of endoscopic sinus surgery to Otolaryngology. In 1991, Prof Stammberger wrote a definitive textbook, Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery: The Messerklinger Technique, that has been used by generations of Rhinologists to learn the surgical techniques of Endoscopic Sinus Surgery.
Prof Stammberger has organized numerous sinus surgery dissections courses. He is an exceptional lecturer and teacher, and frequently is invited as a key-note speaker at international conferences. He has authored numerous peer-review articles and books. Prof Stammberger is dedicated to advancing the surgical frontiers of both Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and Skull Base Surgery.

Dr. Islam Herzallah is Associate Professor & Consultant of Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at King Abdullah Medical City, Makkah, KSA, as well as at Zagazig University, Egypt. Dr. Herzallah has finished his Fellowship of Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at the University of Miami, USA in 2007.

Dr Nogueira is one of the proponents of endoscopic ear surgery (EES).
He has produced Ã¢â‚¬Å“silver booksÃ¢â‚¬Â on endoscopic middle ear anatomy (2010), and endoscopic management of cholesteatoma (2011). For the past five years, he has 29 publications regarding endoscopic techniques for various endoscopic sinus, skull base and ear procedures.
He is also known for his 3D surgical techniques in sinus and ear surgeries. Also, he was one of the editors of the best selling edition of the Ã¢â‚¬Å“Otolaryngology Clinics of North AmericaÃ¢â‚¬Â on endoscopic ear surgery (2013).
Sean Carrie has been an NHS Consultant and Hon Senior Lecturer at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne since 1999. His particular interests areendonasal pituitary surgery and surgical education.
He is President of the European Rhinological Society and Past President of the British Rhinological Society. He has leadership roles in undergraduate and postgraduate education. He is Chairman of both the Newcastle Sinus Surgery and Pituitary courses.
He has collaborative research interests in sinonasal inflammation. He is Chief Investigator of the NIHR funded ‘NAIROS’ multicentre RCT of septoplasty (£1.1million).
He is co-editor of the Rhinology section of the 8th Edn of Scott-Brown’s Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Shkoukani is a double American Board-Certified Surgeon in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery as well as Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He completed a skull base surgery at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, US.
Dr. Mustafa Kapadia completed his residency programme from LTMGH, Mumbai in 2012. After finishing his residency programme, he worked as Senior Registrar at TNMC, Mumbai for 1 year. His main area of interest is Endoscopic Ear & Sinus surgery. He got training in Endoscopic ear surgery under the auspices of Dr. Muaaz Tarabichi in Dubai. Along with Dr. Tarabichi, he has published several international articles on Endoscopic Ear surgery and Transtympanic Eustachian Tuboplasty. Currently he is pursuing Fellowship in Lateral Skull Base surgery under guidance of Dr. Daniele Marchioni at University of Verona, Italy.
Richard currently works as a dedicated rhinologist (nose, sinus, allergy and endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery) at Macquarie University and St Vincent’s Hospitals in Sydney. He is the program head of Rhinology & Skull Base Surgery at the Applied Medical Research Center of UNSW and is Professor at both the University of NSW and Macquarie University. After several years of post-training fellowships, including formal fellowships in the USA and UK, Richard practices in Sydney, Australia, as one of only a few dedicated rhinologists in the country. He has authored over 250 publications, books, book chapters and completed his PhD in trans-nasal skull base surgery. Richard has presented over 500 lectures and talks on sino-nasal disease management. He is the current Editor-in-chief of the Australian Journal of Otolaryngology (ww.w.TheAJO.com) as well as an associate editor for the Cochrane ENT disorders group currently. Richard contributes to the editorial board for Rhinology Journal, American Journal of Rhinology & Allergy and the International Forum of Allergy and Rhinology and is actively involved in research programs in Sydney. He is the recipient of the Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery Medal for Distinguished Contribution to the Art and Science of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, intended to recognise members who are providing outstanding OHNS services beyond their normal practice activities. Along with training surgeons in both developed and emerging countries, Richard runs a series of courses with Sydney every year to further rhinologic education and training in Australia.
